Cristina's Private Tuition provides personalised one-on-one and small groups tutoring services for students of all ages and backgrounds. With a passion for learning, I strive to help my students reach their full potential by providing them with the tools needed to understand difficult concepts and develop life-long skills
I am a dedicated private tutor,specializing in teaching children from Reception up to A Levels. In 2016, I took a bold step to establish my own tutoring business, driven by a vision to make a lasting impact on future generations. Realizing that I could create a
more significant change outside of the traditional school system, I
embraced the opportunity to go private.
Currently, I am proud to be tutoring 65 children, with over 40 more on my
waiting list. The results I achieve with my students speak volumes; many
see remarkable improvements in their marks within just six months, often
doubling their proficiency. My students routinely excel in Maths Challenge
competitions, while others achieve perfect scores in their English exams.
What truly distinguishes my approach is the transformative boost in self-
confidence that my methods provide. Many students come to me feeling
lost and unsure of their abilities, but once we begin our work together, they
quickly connect with my strategies, and their progress is almost immediate.I am equipped to support a wide range of learning needs, including
students with Special Educational Needs or Autism. Whether nurturing
exceptional talents or helping students overcome challenges, I am
wholeheartedly committed to unlocking their fullest potential.
Over the past years, I have had a profound influence on the lives of
many students, and I maintain strong connections with them. Some have
gained admission to prestigious institutions like Harvard, Cambridge, and
Oxford, while others are fearlessly pursuing careers as actors or
accountants.
No matter their aspirations, I am devoted to guiding them from an early
age, helping them discover their unique paths, and providing tailored
advice that aligns with their individual strengths. My mission is to ensure
that their pursuits after our time together resonate with their talents,
empowering them to make meaningful contributions to society.
About our sessions
I work with students both individually and in small groups, providing targeted additional lessons that drive their progress. I actively monitor and record their development, ensuring that I give regular and constructive feedback to parents regarding their child's academic performance and behavior.
I excel at creating individualized learning plans that cater to each student's specific needs. My one-on-one work with children enables me to offer the extra support necessary to help them reach and exceed their grade level.
I am always here to address any questions students have about the curriculum, and I will confidently refer them to their parents when appropriate. I specialize in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, as well as those with Autism. My qualifications allow me to provide effective interventions that help students manage anxiety and build their confidence.
I am also well-equipped to guide students through national tests, including SATs, GCSEs, and 11+ Common Entrance Exams. For those who are unable to engage in face-to-face sessions, I offer flexible Zoom sessions to ensure they receive the support they need.
